Join us for a relaxing gathering of book lovers at our next Silent Book Club event! Whether you're into physical books, e-books, or audiobooks, this is your chance to unwind, escape into a story, and enjoy some quiet reading time in great company.

What to Expect:

• Bring Your Favorite Read
  All reading styles are welcome — paperback, Kindle, graphic novel, or audiobook. Don’t have a current read? No problem! We’ll have recommendations and extra books available for all ages and interests.

• Grab a Drink or Snack
  Each event is hosted in a cozy, welcoming space — whether it’s a coffee shop, bookstore, library, or park. Feel free to bring or grab a treat to enjoy as you read.

• Quiet Reading Time
  After a brief welcome, we’ll settle into a quiet hour (or more) of uninterrupted reading. No pressure. No discussion. Just a peaceful time to enjoy your book.

• Optional Social Time
  Before or after reading, connect with fellow readers, swap recommendations, or simply keep reading if you're in the zone.

Silent Book Club TXK 10 Year Celebration!
Location: Mayo Arts Makers Space, 581 Pine St, Texarkana, TX 75503

Silent Book Club is turning 10!

Join Silent Book Club TXK as we celebrate a decade of reading together (quietly ) with a special community event on Saturday, October 11th from 10:15 AM – 12:15 PM at the brand-new Mayo Arts Makers Space.

Here’s what we have planned:

• Bookmark Making Class in partnership with TRAHC

• Book Swap – bring a book you’ve loved and trade it for something new-to-you

• Silent Reading Area – a cozy spot for those who’d rather read than craft

• Light Refreshments provided

• Community Celebration – honoring 10 years of Silent Book Club worldwide!

To keep our bookmark making sustainable, we’re inviting donations of recycled craft items and trinkets (beads, ribbons, buttons, charms, fabric scraps, lace, or old jewelry) to give forgotten treasures new life.

This event is free and open to the community, with an optional donation to support TRAHC.
